Purchasing Assistant

 

Bridgedale, a leading Construction and Land Asset Management Company are currently recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to support our Construction team. This newly created role, reporting to the Head of Procurement will be based in our head office in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.

Main Duties

  • Placing purchase orders – Online via Construction Sage 200
  • Purchase order processing and chasing back orders while managing the critical path and delivery schedule
  • Negotiating, liaising, and developing relationships with suppliers
  • Effectively manage stock control issues raised by design change and design obsolescence
  • Ensure on time and accuracy of all deliveries
  • Coordinate off-site sub-contractor work requirements

Requirements

  • Previous purchasing/supplier management experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Results driven
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Outlook
